In a perpetual quest for excellence and innovation, Domaine Michel Delorme reached a new milestone in 2011, by initiating the overgrafting of two of its emblematic plots, "Saint Jean" and "Clos Rousseau". This avant-garde approach had a specific objective: to enrich the range of wines of the estate with the introduction of a white Santenay, a novelty in our range.

Overgrafting is a revolutionary viticultural technique that makes it possible to renew the grape varieties of a vine without having to pluck the stumps. Thanks to this method, we can not only preserve the vitality and health of our vines, but also speed up the production process. Thus, only one year after the transplant, we had the privilege of harvesting the first bunches destined for our very first vintage of Santenay blanc and Santenay 1er cru Clos Rousseau blanc.

2012 marked the advent of these new vintages, testifying to the success of our company and our commitment to quality and innovation. These wines, the fruits of meticulous work and an unwavering passion for the vine, will soon be honored during exclusive tastings, before being offered for sale.

The introduction of these new whites perfectly illustrates the philosophy of Domaine Michel Delorme: to combine respect for traditions and technical audacity to offer exceptional wines. We invite our amateurs and enthusiasts to join us to discover these new expressions of the terroir of Santenay, which promise to enrich our offer and seduce the most demanding palates.
